Dear Mr. President,

 

How are you, Sir? or should I say Mr. President. I hope you are well and doing good. By the way, congratulations on your recent election to the presidency of the Philippines.

We heard so many good things about you. I thought that you would be a great leader that has integrity, honesty, humility and clear focus. I also thought that you would be different from the past leaders. I were expecting that our country, the Philippines would be a better place to live in with you as its leader. I had high hopes that you will be true to the promises that you uttered when you were still running for presidency. As years passed, you had decisions that were good; you had actions that had fatal consequences.

You are the quality of being outstanding and extremely a good leader. I pray for our grace to wake up each day and I also declare perfect health upon you.

       Every year on January 25th, the Vigan City Fiesta is celebrated. It is commemorated on the feast day of St. Paul the Apostle's conversion. The patron saint of Vigan City is St. Paul. Before his conversion, St. Paul was known as Saul, a fervent persecutor of Christians. His name was changed to Paul when he was struck by a personal experience with Jesus Christ on his route to Damascus, and he braved a lot of hardships and danger to bring the message of God to far-flung locations.      The Metropolitan Cathedral, which is the heart of the Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia, is Vigan's primary cathedral and is dedicated to St. Paul.
